March Madness

I love March...March Madness is the second best event in sports.  A tie for first is the Masters and the Ryder Cup, but hey I am biased.  The other reason I love March is golf season is right around the corner.  Mother Nature will give us one week of amazing weather in March then take it away with two weeks of cold and snow.  But, that golf tease is what gets me and all the other golfers in Utah ready to play.  My golf instruction career has taken off and I am earning a great name in the area.  My passion, training, knowledge, and personality are setting me apart from other instructors.  I can't wait to see what my future holds.

Started my first Haney Project last night and I can't wait to start another won tomorrow night. It is hard work, but so rewarding I have truly found what I love to do.

I setup my first website today and it wasn't easy haha. The theory behind it is easy, but for the most part it posed a challenge. I was able to grind through it though. So, if you would please stop by toddheuglygolf.com

New Beginnings

Welcome to my blog...I am known by many different nicknames but, Shankopotamus is the one that best describes me.  I have a serious passion for the game of golf and it is slowly, but steadily becoming a career.  I am a golf instructor/coach/teacher in Northern Utah and my list of students is growing weekly.  I am in the Hank Haney Professional program and my knowledge, skill, and ability to improve a golfers game is growing by leaps and bounds as I achieve each level.  That program has shown me the passion I have for teaching and how good I am at teaching.  As you follow me you will enjoy my evaluation of various golf courses and golf products.  You will enjoy amusing moments from my teaching and moments on the course.  I hope you will enjoy seeing the game of golf from my eyes and that my passion for the game will come through.
